Where Is Zanzibar Located?

Is Zanzibar a Country or Part of Tanzania?

Zanzibar is not an independent country. Politically and administratively, it is a semi-autonomous region within the United Republic of Tanzania. The archipelago has its own government and parliament, but foreign policy, defense, and international relations are managed by Tanzania’s central government.
